About Us

Set For Tomorrow is a band founded by Mikey Canoy (guitar/vocals) and completed by Eyker Cruz (vocals), James Lovato (guitar), Brendan McGlathery (Bass/Vocals), and Sean WIlliams (Drums), EST. 2019. Set For Tomorrow means being prepared for the next day by working hard towards your goals and not settling for mediocrity. This DIY spirit is further captured by the band's "hands on" approach to creating their art. Mikey writes and produces most of the bands music as he is a full time audio engineer/music producer (Mikey Canoy Productions). Eyker designs most of the bands merchandise creating a cohesive brand and recognizable style that fans have come to recognize and love, he also extends these services to a variety of bands, creating logos, album art, and merch designs for other artists and businesses. Brendan films a lot of Set For Tomorrow's music videos and creates a lot of the content the band posts as he is a full time media creator working with other artists frequently (Preta Path Productions). James lends his support to everyone being a jack of all trades as well as handling the technical and live show aspects of the band and Sean filling in the blanks and helping out wherever he can. This is all in addition to their instrument rolls in the band. (writing, performing, etc.)

Set For Tomorrow does not believe in shortcuts and stands behind achieving your goals through hard work and the band personifies this as artists and as individuals outside of the music. When we aren't hard at work on the band or our businesses we like to balance things out by playing video games, watching anime, hiking, or spending time with our families/pets. 

At the end of the day we are five people who came together to try to make this crazy music dream a reality and have believed in the process each step of the way. We are building a community of fans and like minded people. If you have been through a lot in life, but refuse to lie down and accept it and work towards a better tomorrow, whatever that may look like for you, then you have found your people.
